2023 NEW VENTURES PLAY FESTIVAL

By Philadelphia Artists' Collective (other events)

2 Dates Through Jun 12, 2023

ABOUT ABOUT

Honorary Producers Gayle & David Smith

To celebrate the vitality of classical themes in new work, PAC is excited to announce our THIRD annual New Ventures Play Festival! Playwrights were invited to submit new works of no more than 10 minutes, inspired by the classics and based on a theme. Our theme for the 2023 festival is The Evolution of Human Rights.

A panel of readers read, discussed, and judged all submissions, and chose 5 finalists whose work will be presented in two evenings of world-premiere staged readings in June 2023.
